The Golani Brigade combat team forces under the Gaza Division Command (143) continue to operate in the Rafah area to destroy above- and below-ground terrorist infrastructure and eliminate the terrorists remaining in the area.
Yesterday (Thursday), the forces identified armed terrorists who emerged from the underground terrorist infrastructure in eastern Rafah and violated the ceasefire agreement.
In a quick closing of the circle, the forces on the ground, with the assistance of the Air Force, attacked and eliminated several of the terrorists.
In response to the violation, the IDF carried out a targeted attack on armed Hamas terrorists in Rafah overnight (Friday).
