First responders have pronounced five individuals dead after they were shot on Wednesday in the Bedouin Arab town of Basmat Tab'un in northern Israel.

MDA paramedic Ofer Winik stated: "This is a severe incident. There was a great commotion at the scene. Six wounded victims suffered penetration wounds. We immediately began performing medical examinations; unfortunately, three men and two women were without signs of life, and we had to declare them dead. A 49-year-old man who was moderately wounded was taken by an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital.
