An American pro-Palestinian activist opened a café in Ramallah in solidarity with Palestinians, only to lose all her money and shut it down after being scammed by local Palestinians she was trying to help.

An American woman went to Ramallah to open a café.

Almost everyone involved in the project, including local authorities, scammed her.

She was detained, lost all her money, shut the business, and returned to the U.S. seeking donations.
