Pope: ‘Let the arms cease. War is always a defeat'
Whenever Israel starts to defend itself, we start to hear this sort of shallow moralizing.
Would Pope Francis have been fine with a National Socialist regime dominating Europe? Maybe so.
But what leftists generally hate is when the Jewish state defends itself against the jihad that would destroy it. War in other contexts, such as Ukraine defending itself against Russia, is not so bad, as far as they are concerned.
