"Wagner Force" fighters operating in Syria are now withdrawing from the Raqqa area towards the Russian air force base Hamimim. From there they will be flown to Belarus to join the rest of Wagner's men.
The reason for leaving Syria is the unwillingness of the fighters in force to sign the continuation of the employment contract by Russia.
Their current contract expires at the end of the month.
This, of course, is contingent on how Putin will treat them - as friend - or foe.
The Wagner troops have been mostly securing oil fields in the country, and it is not yet sure who will take their place.
It will be interesting to know if the same thing will happen for Wagner troops in Africa.
