Today, the Oncology Institute at the Shamir Assaf Medical Center, under the direction of Dr. Raya Leibowitz, visited a representative of a unique project of the Rishon Lezion Municipality - operating on the initiative of the Ministry of Women's Advancement, Director of Social Integration - Senior Citizens Division, and Culture Division

As part of the month to raise awareness for breast cancer, the knitting team from Rishon Lezion decided to knit in pink - bags, hats, scarves, slippers and more for women treated at the Oncology Institute at Shamir Assaf Harofeh Medical Center.

The Municipality of Rishon LeZion provided the wool and the members of the "Knitting Rishon Women" group meet every week and knit for the community and arrived today at the hospital together with Moti Ajami, Deputy Chief of Staff and Welfare File Holder, Michal Schwartz Director of the Senior Citizens Division, and Adv. Dana Eisner-Lavi is a RAA consultant for the advancement of women
