This morning in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, a meeting of the steering conference of the "Negev Forum" and the working groups, established as part of the forum, opened.
The meeting will be attended by senior delegations from the 6 member states: United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, USA and Israel.
The Israeli delegation, which is led by the director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alon Oshfiz, includes senior representatives from the ministries of agriculture, health, defense, intelligence, tourism, energy, education, the economy, the water authority and the MLA.
At the meeting, which opened today, the delegations will prepare the summit of foreign ministers of the Negev Forum, which is expected to take place in the coming months in Morocco, and Foreign Minister Eli Cohen is expected to participate.
