Each day the level of violence has gone up a notch with both sides seeming to hope they won't have to massacre each other in order to get what they want. 

The PA security forces - for now - are still loyal to Abbas, but as we have just seen in Syria - this could change within minutes, and we could see Hamas and the PIJ sitting in Abbas chair tomorrow morning.

The US and Europe are all supporters of the PA, as are many in Israel.
