Foreign reports indicate that an Israeli Iron Dome system, allegedly deployed covertly in the United Arab Emirates, successfully intercepted Iranian missiles targeting the country.
According to these reports, on May 4, 2026, at least one missile—part of a barrage including cruise and ballistic missiles—was intercepted en route to Dubai, specifically targeting the Jebel Ali port area.
The system was reportedly installed at the start of the war with Iran in February 2026, following secret coordination between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed. It is also claimed that the system is being operated by IDF personnel stationed داخل the UAE.
Sources further suggest this was not an isolated incident. Since February, dozens of Iranian missiles aimed at civilian and energy infrastructure in the UAE have allegedly been intercepted. In addition to Iron Dome, Israel is said to have deployed the “Iron Beam” laser defense system, along with advanced “Spectro” detection systems capable of identifying drones within a 20-kilometer range.
