Security coordination between Israel and the United Arab Emirates has significantly intensified in the context of the ongoing conflict with Iran, according to a report by Israeli Kan News.
The report notes that both countries increasingly view Iran as a shared strategic threat, with expectations for expanded and unprecedented cooperation in the near future.
At the same time, a Gulf diplomat cited in the report said that Washington is actively pushing for a diplomatic agreement with Iran. Israel, however, is reportedly working to prevent such a deal, while Iran appears open to negotiations—but is not showing urgency. Gulf states are said to be closely monitoring the talks and are seeking clear and firm security guarantees as part of any potential agreement.
