Trump begins Middle East tour with eye on Gulf deals, Gaza plan

The president's itinerary includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and potentially Turkey

(May 13, 2025 / JNS) U.S. President Donald Trump was set to arrive in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to kick off a consequential Middle East tour. He aims to secure substantial Gulf investments, reshape U.S. policy on Syria, as well as intensify diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Hamas wars.

This marks the first major overseas trip of Trump’s second term.

In addition to Saudi Arabia, the tour will include visits to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

I’d be on high alert for his safety by him going to Qutar, it is like him going inside the tent of King Agag of the Amelekites, no one asked me but I would not recommend it, but I don’t know everythi.
