Israel is reportedly preparing aggressively for a new war with Lebanon—both militarily and logistically. According to Lebanese sources, Israel is building a new target bank in areas it plans to strike, while drones have become a “very annoying companion” in Lebanese daily life.
The next war, they say, will be unlike the previous one. Israel is expected to rely far more on air power and technology—particularly drones, UAVs, and advanced F-16 and F-35 jets—rather than ground operations and Merkava tanks.
Main targets are expected north of the Litani River, especially the southern suburbs of Beirut (Hezbollah’s stronghold in Dahiyeh), villages in the south, and the Bekaa Valley—used for launching long-range rockets.
The Israeli army could enter Lebanon from multiple fronts: the south, Rachaya, and Masnaa, or through airborne landings. However, occupying new territory is reportedly not among Israel’s priorities.
