EuroTrophy Secures €330M Contract to Equip Leopard 2A8 Tanks with Trophy APS.
The system will be integrated as a standard feature on Leopard 2A8 platforms delivered to Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Croatia, enhancing interoperability and survivability across NATO armored fleets
EuroTrophy, a joint venture between Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (Germany), General Dynamics European Land Systems (Europe), and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems (Israel)—and the European hub of the Trophy Active Protection System (APS) manufactured by Rafael—announced that it has signed a €330 million contract with KNDS Deutschland to supply Trophy APS for the Leopard 2A8 programs of Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Croatia.
The contract confirms that Trophy will be integrated as a standard feature of the Leopard 2A8 configuration delivered to all participating countries. EuroTrophy emphasizes that the inclusion of Trophy as a baseline system ensures full interoperability and commonality across the fleets of the four NATO members, simplifying maintenance, training, and operational integration during joint deployments.
