Jewish man detained for praying on Temple Mount

After a court ruling: worshipers tried to climb the Temple Mount, police detained one of them

After an Israeli court ruled yesterday that Jews are allowed to pray on the Temple Mount, several worshipers arrived this morning seeking to take advantage of the ruling - and were denied by the police.

One of them, who bowed, was even detained.

Jordan was quick to state that Israel is violating the status quo on the mountain, but the government secretariat clarified that this is an individual decision and does not contain a general ruling regarding freedom of worship.

I think the police on the Temple Mount are Israeli Muslim police or Druse police.
