Conservative commentator Mark Levin in a post on his X account, is calling for an FBI investigation into the leak of what he described as a private call between heads of state, warning that the disclosure harmed the US, Israel, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Levin said the Axios leak gave support to the Iranian regime and to its Hezbollah proxy by making Washington appear “weak and desperate” for a deal. He argued that if the leaked details are accurate, the damage is already serious — especially because Hezbollah’s missiles are aimed at Israelis, not at Washington.

According to Levin, what some may have believed would be a damaging political hit against Netanyahu instead ended up harming US military and diplomatic strategy. He said anyone pushing Israel to abandon its survival for the sake of a deal would learn a “very hard lesson.”
