Trump’s mixed signals: Destroying Hamas is ‘worthy goal’

However, Israeli strikes in Qatar ‘won’t happen again’

Qatar urged the U.S. to issue a firm condemnation of Israel, calling the strike a violation of international law.

Following an Israeli airstrike in Doha which targeted key Hamas leaders, US President Donald Trump spoke to Qatari leaders on the phone and assured them that such an attack “will not happen again on your soil.”

The White House issued a rare rebuke of Israel on Tuesday following an airstrike in Doha that targeted senior Hamas officials, saying the action undermined U.S. diplomatic efforts and harmed relations with key partners in the region.

I am disappointed in Trump's apparent love for Qatar. He's certainly supportive of them, and I think it's a very poor choice on his part. They are undermining the US while he protects them. Not good!

Bibi’s approach to FAFO Qatar’s not stupid They know only Israel controls its decisions now. I’m waiting 15 years to learn who was killed in Qatar today. I guess a few more hours wait is tolerable.
