Israel Sees Increase in Number of Car Crash Fatalities

Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that the number of deaths from traffic accidents in Israel between the months of January – November 2024 was the highest in the last 18 years.

In this period, the number of fatalities was 394 compared to 331 fatalities in the corresponding period in 2023, an increase of 19%.

There was an 18.5% increase in the number of fatal accidents in January – November 2024 (365) compared to January – November 2023 (308) and an increase of 27.6% compared to the average of the years 2020 – 2022 (286).
