A new book to be published next week in the United States claims that former Defense Minister Benny Gantz passed information to the Biden administration during Operation Wall Guard in May 2021 that undermined the official positions of then-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
The book, "The Last Politician" by the commentator Frank Fore, which deals with Joe Biden from a rather flattering point of view, states that while Netanyahu's policy was to continue hitting Hamas indefinitely, Gantz conveyed in conversations with the administration the information according to which Israel's target bank in the Gaza Strip is getting empty.
According to the book, it seems that the administration suspected that Netanyahu was interested in continuing the operation for political reasons. As you remember, the outbreak of the operation led Bennett to announce that the government of change had dropped out of the loop, and it returned only after the operation was over.
