Iraqi tribal leader and former MP Sheikh Adnan Al-Danbous discussed the tribal connections between Iraqis and clans in the Gulf during an October 10, 2024 show uploaded to Al-Mutalee Media on YouTube.
He said that Arabs are not the original inhabitants of Iraq, but arrived in the region from the Arabian Peninsula following the Arab and Muslim invasions.
Al-Danbous further stated that the Arabs persecuted and displaced the region's original inhabitants, including the Chaldeans, Babylonians, Jews, Christians, and Sabians. He also asserted that the nature of Iraqi society is violent, having persecuted its minorities and driven them out of the country.
