Lebanese TV channel Al-Jadeed and other media outlets in Lebanon have published images in recent days, reportedly provided by the Lebanese Armed Forces, documenting a large underground Hezbollah facility in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese army forces entered the site roughly two weeks ago. According to reports, it contains missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and additional weapons systems.
The underground complex reportedly stretches for hundreds of meters between the villages of Kafrā and Siddiqin in southern Lebanon. Army units are said to still be in the process of neutralizing the site, with assessments indicating that the work may continue for about another week.
The publication comes ahead of a Lebanese cabinet meeting, after the army commander announced that the phase of disarming the area south of the Litani River has been completed, with the exception of areas still under the control of the Israel Defense Forces.
