"The occupation's decision to hold silent prayers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque plaza is a serious aggression against the holy sites of Islam. It is a cruel decision for which the occupation bears full responsibility."

The Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein: "We appeal to Arabs and Muslims to save Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the invasive decisions of the occupation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we warn everyone against the outbreak of a religious war."
