Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., discusses Iran launching four waves of missile attacks on Israel and U.S. negotiations with the regime on ‘The Big Weekend Show.’
Sen. Ron Johnson: Good evening. First of all, President Trump hates war. He wants peace. He doesn't want to see anybody die. But he had to make a very tough call because every president, going back to Bill Clinton, said we could not allow Iran to become a nuclear power. And President Trump's the only one who did anything about it.
So, he's dramatically degraded their nuclear weapons program, their missile program, and their navy. But he has not been able to because you've got the ayatollahs there, they've got their mosaic defense. They're a brutal dictatorship. They're evil people. And they just won't lay down their arms. So, it's a really difficult situation right now.
