IDF Spokesperson: Elimination of terrorists and attacks on military targets in the Gaza Strip: Documentation of the activities of Division 99 forces
During the past month, in a joint operation by Division 99 forces and the Shin Bet, dozens of terrorists who were working to carry out terrorist plots against IDF forces in the north and center of the Gaza Strip were eliminated.
As part of the operation, the terrorist Ahmed Abu Deif, who had served as deputy company commander in the Zeitoun Battalion since 2024, was eliminated. As part of his role, he planned, directed, and carried out dozens of ambushes and attacks against IDF forces, and also worked to recruit additional terrorists for the Hamas terrorist organization.
In one of the operations, the terrorist Taleb Sadiq Taleb Abu Atiwi, commander of the Nuhba team that raided the country on October 7, was eliminated.
