The IHRA definition of antisemitism is often dismissed as “controversial.” But that claim only works if you haven’t read it.
The definition, written by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, explicitly states that criticism of Israel, similar to that leveled against any other country, is not antisemitic.
The line is crossed only when Israel is treated differently — judged by standards no other country is held to, or used as a proxy to target Jews.
That isn’t censoring criticism. That's identifying bias.
