The directors of the Ministry of Economy and Industry held a cyber-attack management drill Wednesday morning.
The drill included dealing with various challenges facing Israeli businesses such as importers, exporters, industrialists and consumers, alongside various government bodies, and international partners.
The drill included the process of managing the incident and making decisions in different time frames, under conditions of significant uncertainty.
The exercise was managed and accompanied by the Triad consulting company and with the participation of representatives of the cyber system and officials of the ministry.
The Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, Amnon Merhav stated that a cyber incident has unique characteristics that could have a significant impact on the activities of the ministry vis-a-vis its various clients and we are obliged to practice, draw lessons, respond and prepare for every scenario even in this content world.
