President Yitzhak Herzog spoke today (Sunday) with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in the wake of the preparations for a terrorist attack against Israelis in Istanbul.
Herzog thanked Erdogan for "efforts to thwart a terrorist act on Turkish soil," stressing that "the threat has not yet been removed." The two went on to emphasize the great contribution of cooperation between the parties to the "trust built between governments and peoples."
