Senior Iranian regime cleric calls on Muslims worldwide to target ‘infidel’ United States

Referencing U.S.-led attempts to demilitarize Iran’s regional terrorist proxies, the regime cleric claimed it was paving the way to colonization.
A senior Iranian cleric called on Muslims worldwide to attack U.S. interests, saying that waging jihad against the “infidel enemy” was a religious obligation “for anyone capable of carrying it out.”
“It is incumbent upon the free people of the region not to remain silent in the face of the aggression of the Zionist-American enemy,” said Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, a top member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, in a statement carried by the semi-official Mehr News outlet.

Lindsey Graham handily defeats anti-Israel primary challenger

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) handily defeated a field of Republican challengers, securing the GOP nomination for a fifth Senate term and delivering a victory for one of Israel’s most outspoken allies in Congress.
Backed by US President Donald Trump and much of South Carolina’s Republican establishment, Graham won the primary outright, avoiding a runoff.
He received 56.8 percent of the vote, compared with 28.9 percent for businessman Mark Lynch and 5.2 percent for Thomas Dismukes.
