In recent hours, satellite surveillance has detected an unprecedented level of Egyptian military movement near the border, specifically along the Philadelphi Corridor. For the first time since the Camp David Accords were signed, a large number of Egyptian tanks and heavy military hardware have entered the area. 

This unusual mobilization has raised serious concerns and is seen as a sign of heightened military readiness. The Arabic-language military intelligence website Arabyic Defense described the activity as extraordinary and alarming.

In addition, unusual developments have been spotted at several airfields and ports across the Sinai Peninsula. These include the expansion of runways and enhancements to port docks—clear indicators of extensive preparations, as though Egypt is gearing up for war. The transfer of weapons and military gear to potential conflict zones further supports this assessment.
