IDF destroys an Iranian terror regime's compound used to develop satellite attack capabilities in space.
The Air Force, under precise intelligence guidance from the Intelligence Directorate, destroyed a space center of the Iranian terrorist regime, which was used to develop attack capabilities to damage satellites, which pose a threat to the satellites of the State of Israel and the space assets of other countries in the world.
The center attacked was used to develop military space programs, including the 'Shamran 1' satellite, built by the Iranian Ministry of Defense's Electronics Industries and launched in September 2024 by the Revolutionary Guards.
The destruction of the center is in addition to the attack carried out last week (Friday) on another space research center of the Iranian Space Organization in Tehran.
For years, the Iranian terrorist regime has invested significant resources in developing space warfare capabilities, as part of its efforts to expand its military capabilities and undermine regional and international stability.
The IDF will continue to work to protect its capabilities in all dimensions: on land, in the air, at sea and in space.
