Ellie Reynolds, a survivor of the UK’s grooming gang crisis, has publicly condemned what she calls the “shameful hypocrisy” of mainstream media outlets.
Reynolds said that while journalists eagerly attempt to destroy women’s careers over minor controversies, they stayed silent for decades as mostly Pakistani men raped, trafficked, and even murdered white children across Britain.
She added that this silence wasn’t due to ignorance but fear of being labeled racist — a fear that allowed predators to continue preying on vulnerable girls in towns like Rotherham, Telford, and Rochdale.
Reynolds called for accountability from both the media and authorities who “looked the other way while children were destroyed.”
