Former senior adviser to the US central bank accused of spying for the Chinese regime

Former senior adviser to the US Federal Reserve, John Harold Rogers, is accused of economic espionage for China.

He allegedly stole trade secrets and lied to authorities during the investigation.

The indictment unsealed yesterday by the US Department of Justice alleges that John Harold Rogers leaked confidential information to Beijing, some of which related to US tariff policy.
