The sounds of ambulances can be heard throughout Damascus, and apparently there are senior Iranian officials who were hit in the evening attacks on the Damascus area a short time ago. The sounds of the explosions are also heard in the vicinity of the military point Tel Tsachan - Tel Sahn, east of the village of al-Hawiya - Hawiya in the southern countryside of al-Suwayda, apparently as a result of damage to the air defense batteries.

A Syrian military source reported that around 22:05 (Damascus time) last night, the IDF carried out air attacks from the direction of the Golan Heights and bombed several points in the southern region. 

The news network of the Druze in southern Syria - As-Suwayda 24 reported that an airstrike, apparently Israeli, was aimed at the Batach Tachan radar point belonging to the Syrian army forces and located in the desert area of the al-Suwayda district in southeastern Syria.

The spokesman for the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claims that the international airport of Damascus was also attacked, but so far the extent of the damage has not been known. According to the spokesman, today's Israeli bombing was a clear warning to Assad not to allow any more Iranian weapons shipments to land in the field, otherwise the field will shut down again.

Photos uploaded to social networks showed explosions throughout the airport, but so far the extent of the damage caused by this attack has not yet been determined.

The airport spokesman firmly claims that the field was not damaged and that it is operating as normal.

Sources in the Syrian press reported that they heard sounds of huge explosions that shook the capital Damascus and there are even reports of damage to military sites belonging to Iranian militias in the vicinity of the capital Damascus in the southern region and the international airport of Damascus, one day after its reactivation. 

According to Syrian analysts, Israel systematically damages the Syrian air defense systems in an attempt to "blind" it and prevent damage to the attacking aircraft that sometimes even reach the Syria-Iraq border in an attempt to neutralize Iranian proxy forces operating there.
