According to federal court documents, the suspects allegedly planned to use explosive-laden drones near the White House to create panic and force thousands of guests—including senior government officials—to evacuate toward positions where gunmen would be waiting. Authorities said the alleged plan may also have included an attempt to storm a White House gate. 

The investigation began on June 10 after the mother of 19-year-old suspect Tycen Proper contacted police over his weapons purchases and disturbing online communications. Proper allegedly told investigators that the group wanted to “jumpstart” a revolution because its members believed the United States was moving in the wrong direction.

Court documents reportedly indicate that the suspects were influenced by anti-government conspiracy theories and anger surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files. One suspect also allegedly discussed targeting lawmakers who had received campaign contributions from pro-Israel organizations.
