David Libi, a private, civilian contractor, was killed by an explosion while working to destroy terrorist infrastructure
The Binyamin Regional Council announced on Thursday that David Libi, from the community of Malachei Hashalom, fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
David, 19, worked for a private company contracted by the Defense Ministry and was killed by an explosive device. According to the Binyamin Council, he was part of an engineering crew that operated machinery to destroy terrorist infrastructure. Libi was operating heavy engineering machinery in the Jabalia area, when he was hit by a bomb apparently planted there by terror operatives, according to an IDF probe.
He is survived by his parents and seven siblings.
