The terrorist belonged to the "Lions' Den" organization, which had previously been broken by the IDF. The arrest came after he was involved in carrying out operations, assisted in arming, and planned additional attacks.

While surrounded, he attempted to flee, and the forces opened fire, wounding him in the lower part of his body. 

He was arrested and taken for investigation. During the operation, gunfire and explosive devices were fired at the forces, but no injuries were reported.
