Muslims in America have the power to change policy by donating to CAIR, Building leadership; Inshallah, Florida Will Have a Muslim Governor, House Representatives, Senators

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) National Development Director Tayyab Yunus said at the February 5, 2025, "Legacy of Strength" Gala in Jacksonville, FL, that Muslims in America can wield great power through donations and building political leadership.

He claimed that nearly 7 million Muslims in America donate $4.3 billion annually, urging that these funds be directed toward CAIR.

Yunus expressed his desire to see a Muslim governor in Florida, as well as Muslim Congress members and senators.
