During IDF operational activity in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza, Israeli forces uncovered clear evidence of Hamas’ systematic misuse of ambulances and emergency services for terrorist activity.
According to the IDF, routine drone surveillance along the “yellow line” revealed armed Hamas terrorists repeatedly using ambulances to transport operatives and weapons from a hospital to a nearby school. The activity was documented as part of ongoing military operations in the area.
The IDF stated that this is yet another example of Hamas’ cynical exploitation of civilians and civilian infrastructure, including medical and educational institutions, in blatant violation of international law. By embedding its terror operations within civilian settings, Hamas deliberately places the Gazan population at risk while shielding its activities behind protected sites.
Since the ceasefire came into effect, Hamas has repeatedly violated the agreement and focused its efforts on rebuilding its military capabilities. The IDF emphasized that it will continue to operate in accordance with international law when dealing with medical facilities and schools — including those Hamas has chosen to turn into terror hubs — despite Hamas’ ongoing and flagrant violations of those same laws.
