Palestinians report the echoes of loud explosions that can be heard as far as the northern Gaza Strip following the IDF's bombing of buildings in the Rafah district in the southern Gaza Strip.

Gaza journalists report that the Shabura neighborhood in Rafah has been completely wiped out and that during the day more than 70 Israeli bulldozers and engineering vehicles (including civilian ones) are operating in Rafah to demolish the buildings and leave level ground.

NEWSRAEL: While Hamas plays games with hostages and pro-Hamas supporters in the West - Israel is turning Rafah into a parking lot.
