Pakistani Official Faisal Kundi to Al-Jazeera TV: Our nuclear bombs are not meant to be displayed in museums, we will use them if attacked by India – “Everything is fair in love and war”
Faisal Kundi, governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and an advisor to the Pakistani Prime Minister, discussed the possibility of nuclear war with India during an April 30, 2025 appearance on Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar), stating that Pakistan is ready to stand up to India “at any price.”
He said that Pakistan has the capability to respond on every front, will not back down, and will respond forcefully. Kundi said Pakistanis are proud of their former prime minister who enabled the country to acquire nuclear weapons, emphasizing that these bombs are not meant to be “displayed in museums,” but to be used if necessary.
When asked whether the nuclear option is “on the table,” Kundi replied: “Everything is fair in love and war,” adding that if India launches a war against Pakistan, it should expect a nuclear response.
