German officials either do not have the will to deport Waquar H., for fear of being considered “Islamophobic” by other Muslims in the country, or they simply don’t care that he is breaking the law and is in the country on false pretenses, because they want a large and growing Muslim population in Germany.
“Asylum swindler has been living in Germany for eleven years,” translated from “Asylschwindler lebt seit elf Jahren in Deutschland,” Bild, February 10, 2022:
“The defendant has been cheating the German state for a number of years, even now he is violating his residency requirements!”
Those are the words of District Judge Roland Wirlitsch (61) in the verdict against Waquar H. (38) from Pakistan. The unskilled salesman has been living in Germany for 11 years and cannot be deported.
H. allegedly came to the country without papers in 2011, gave a false first name and made himself ten years younger. “Friends advised me to do it,” he told the judge openly on Thursday.
In 2012, his application for asylum was rejected, and he was obliged to leave the country. In 2013, he was granted a “Duldung” – deportation impossible due to missing papers. According to the indictment, he went into hiding from 2016 to 2019.
In 2019, he suddenly applied for a permit to stay in Dresden again. The immigration office called the police. Waquar H. had a totally fake Portuguese ID, but with his real name.
A month later, he presented a real Pakistani passport, because he wanted to work and get married. Today he lives and works in Berlin, although he is only allowed to stay in Dresden.
An employee (62) of the immigration office: “He is on the deportation list, Pakistan is refusing admission because of Corona.”
The court sentenced him to a fine of 6,000 euros, which he may never pay. Incidentally, an asylum seeker receives 344 euros/month in benefits and the costs of accommodation.
