The participants explained that the act showed that the Palestinians were ready to fight for their freedom and that Israel is committing genocide.

The event took place despite the university's announcement of its cancellation at the beginning of the week

I can see that they are fighting for their freedom, yet thousands upon thousands are buried alive in the rubble.. .. Hamas wants to destroy a blessed ordained Nation.. and the opposite happens..
