Hamas continues to attempt to transfer its rocket manufacturing knowledge to its terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
The security forces announced yesterday that they had captured a terrorist cell in the Tulkarm area that was engaged, among other things, in manufacturing rockets intended for launching at Israel.
Senior security officials said that the cell was exposed following the detection of an explosive device in a military vehicle during maintenance at a garage in Ma'ale Adumim. Police sappers neutralized the device, but before doing so, they extracted DNA evidence from it that led investigators to the village of Atil in the Tulkarm area, where two family members who were involved in rocket manufacturing were arrested.
According to the security forces' statement, during the Shin Bet investigation, three rockets in various stages of production were located, explosive devices, means of activation, components for preparing charges, and raw materials for producing explosives. One of the rockets contained a warhead containing explosives.
