In March, Iman Muhammad Ghazali carried out a terrorist attack on a synagogue in Michigan while more than 140 children and staff members were inside.

We assess this attack to be a Hezbollah-inspired act of terrorism purposely targeting the Jewish community and the largest Jewish temple in Michigan.

He carried out the attack following the death of his brother. Fittingly, his brother was a Hezbollah commander who was eliminated in a strike on a military structure. He was responsible for managing weapons operations within a specialized branch of Hezbollah.
