During Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa’s visit to Washington, D.C., he was blessed by Rabbi Yosef Hamra—the brother of the last chief rabbi of Syria—who wished his administration success in rebuilding Syria.

The blessing received by Ahmed al-Shara'a, President of Syria, from Rabbi Yosef Hamra (a native of Syria), during al-Shara'a's visit to Washington.
