US tells Israel to "play nice" until Biden leaves

A senior U.S. official who visited Israel asked Lapid, Gantz and National Security Adviser Hulta that Israel refrain from demolishing homes, evacuating residents, promoting construction in settlements and even reduce IDF entry into Area A until after the president's visit in July.

The United States has asked Israel to refrain from taking steps in the West Bank and East Jerusalem that could increase tensions with the Palestinians, until after President Joe Biden's visit on July 13, Walla was told by senior Israeli, American and Palestinian officials.
