After 27 years apart, an emotional reunion unfolded in Israel as Sarah—a doctor who just made Aliyah—finally embraced her birth mother, Tadela, who was forced to flee Ethiopia during violent unrest and had no choice but to leave her newborn behind.

27 years ago, Tadela was forced to flee Ethiopia due to violence that broke out, and had to leave her newborn daughter behind with neighbors who raised her.

Two days ago, they finally met in Israel. Sarah, now a doctor, made Aliyah to Israel.
