WATCH: Senior Houthi official warns: American vessels will be attacked; we will attack any vessel that confronts the Yemeni people

Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Houthi Supreme Political Council warned on a December 21, 2023 show on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) that the Houthis would attack American maritime vessels. He added that they will attack any vessel that “confronts the Yemeni people.”

Al-Houthi stated that this includes oil tankers en route to Europe, and he added that the Europeans should prepare for a “harsh winter.”

He continued to say that Saudi Arabia would “not be immune” to Houthi retaliation if attacks against Yemen are carried out from within its borders.
