Israel and Lebanon enter rare talks as Hezbollah threatens escalation

Ceasefire talks between longtime adversaries Israel and Lebanon are set to begin today in Washington, D.C., under the auspices of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The draft has been prepared by former Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, a close adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the report, the plan would divide southern Lebanon into three zones.
