Watch How Undercover Op Unfolded
In a targeted operation in the center of Hebron, Israeli Security Forces apprehended an active member of the Fatah-Tanzim terrorist group, who had previously executed a shooting assault in the southern Hebron Hills and had been evading capture for several years.
The arrest was made by undercover agents from the police's Gideonim unit (Unit 33), who collaborated with Israel Defense Forces personnel and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) to detain the suspect during a counter-terrorism operation at a bank in Hebron.
The individual, associated with the Tanzim terror factions that have strong connections to Mahmoud Abbas’s ruling Fatah party, has since been placed in the custody of the Israel Security Agency.
