Salty death pools found in Israel
Salt pools found in the Gulf of Eilat and off the coast of Tel Aviv can provide a lot of information about the way the oceans were formed millions of years ago.

As if life in the sea wasn't hard enough, there are areas at the bottom where any living creature will die in seconds. Rare pools of salt water were recently found in the Red Sea, not far from the Gulf of Eilat, with no oxygen in them. The unlucky creatures that enter these incredibly salty pools find their deaths and make easy prey for the sea creatures lurking in the area.
